Handicalc® League Manager™ makes running 9-hole and 18-hole golf leagues a snap. Quickly setup your league using the built-in League Setup Wizard, which walks you right through the process with a few clicks of the mouse. Add your teams, create the schedule,and you are ready to go. League Manager is a 32-bit application and runs on Windows XP, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows 98, Windows 95 and Windows NT.

Handicalc is very easy to use. The program is controlled by using the "Outlook" style toolbar that makes it very easy to navigate the program. Program functions are grouped together making it easy and intuitive to access the various Handicalc features. The "League" icon contains the controls to enter scores and calculate the match results. The "Setup" icon has the functions for setting up the league, including setting league parameters, creating schedules and teams. The "Database" icon takes you to the golfer and golf course data entry screens. The Tools button has various utilities such as backing up the database, special configuration options and accessing the internet.

Setting Up Your League

The Setup Wizard, accessed from the Setup controls, makes it easy to setup your Golf League. It prompts you for the league parameters such as number of teams, players per team and days between rounds.

From that information, it automatically determines total players, number of rounds and matches per round. Plug in the start date, and you are ready to generate the schedule for the whole league with the click of your mouse.

Entering Scores

To enter a score for a player, you select the round / date and then select the player from the player list. When you select the player, the scorecard is ready for input. You can quickly search for a player by name by just typing the last name in to the search field. The player list automatically indicates which players have a score entered and which players do not.

Match Results

Match Results can be run and re-run at any time. You can run the matches for one week or the entire season very easily. The match results calculate the net score for each golfer and then determine who won the hole based on net score or gross score. Points are then assigned by hole and for the entire match.

Reporting

Numerous reports are available and can be exported to other file formats such as Microsoft Excel or Word. Reports can be sent directly to the internet with just a click.
